All Major compasses are now supplied in the New 'Major II' format featuring improvements in Performance, Magnetic Correction and Overall Style and Finish.

Accurate, steady and easy to read, the Major compass has proven its reliability over many years.

The Compass is used worldwide for leisure, commercial and military vessels and is ideal for medium to large sail or powered craft.

Used exclusively by the UK 'Royal National Lifeboat Institution', the compass has a proven track record in one of the most demanding environments.

A superbly designed, accurate and reliable "work horse", ideal as a steering compass. The Moore is manufactured in brass with a "Grey Hammered" finish. The card has 5' markings, easily seen from above or at up to 3 metres if using the side readings. A removable metal hood for the bowl also allows front edge reading.

Copied but never equaled, the Radiant handbearing compass is a high quality instrument which has full NATO Type Approval.

The liquid filled bowl produces a very steady reading allowing exceptionally accurate sights to be taken through the adjustable top prism.

The compass is extensively used by Aircraft Operators as a 'Landing Compass' in the task of "Aircraft Swinging"
