The Radiant is a precise high quality instrument that allows steady readings to be taken at any location. Exceptionally accurate sights are achieved viewing through the adjustable highly magnified top prism. The compass card is graduated in 2º divisions.
This NATO Approved design is well balanced, easy to use and available with either LED or BETA light illumination. A deviation card is supplied with each compass. The unit can be returned to SIRS for yearly calibration.

This NATO Approved landing compass will give very accurate directional readings and is extensively used by Military and Civil aircraft operators for setting up Navigation Instruments during Aircraft swinging.
The compass is of a sturdy brass construction. Readings are obtained by looking through a fixed prism in conjunction with the opposite sighting vane. They can be supplied to give actual magnetic headings, or reciprocal readings and come complete with Stowage Box, Plumb Bob and Deviation Card. A Tripod (recommended) is also available. The Unit can be returned to SIRS for yearly calibration.
